Beautonomy Custom Eyeshadow Palette

Have you ever wanted to create your very own custom eye palette? Well you're in luck! Keep reading to find out how you're only a few steps away from owning your own personalised creation and my thoughts on the process and outcome.

Beautonomy Custom Eyeshadow Palette Review

This is my personalised Beautonomy palette. All the shades included were individually picked by myself out of a variety of options. In total, at the time when I created my order, there were 45 various eyeshadows to choose from to form your own palette. They have a lot of different finishes to pick from such as metallics, glitters, mattes and shimmers. The colour choice is really great too. It's not just eyeshadows you can choose from either as Beautonomy also have other products that you can select to make up your custom palette such as bronzers, highlighters and blushes.

The amazing thing about this product is that you know that you are going to be happy with every single shade that's included because you've had the complete freedom to choose each one yourself. I just hate buying a new palette of some sort that I like but there is always at least one shade (and it's usually a lot more) that I'm not keen on and never end up using. This is why I was absolutely elated when I came across the Beautonomy website as I'd recently been really wanting to create my very own personalised product. Also, even though the inside of the palette is just plain white with a mirror included on the flip side, you do actually get to customise the outside packaging on the top!

The image below shows the top of my eyeshadow palette. On the website you get the choice to pick from a variety of images that you can select to have on the cover of your product or there is also an option to add your own photo for it. You can add text on there as well if you want to. I went for this marbled texture look that was one of the Beautonomy images that you could choose from. I'm happy with how it's turned out as I think the marble appearance looks really sleek.

In regards to the material of the palette, it's made out of card so it doesn't feel overly sturdy but this isn't a big deal. If you were ever going to travel with it though, you may just need to wrap it in a little bit of bubble wrap or something just for extra protection.

This is what each of the eyeshadows you have chosen come in (see image below). You then have to match up the shade, which is written on the back of this packet, to what slot in the palette it needs to be fitted in to. This is a really simple process and the shades will all be in the same order that you arranged yourself when creating your product on the website. I think it's great that the eyeshadows come in this little packaging and not pre-fitted in the slots as they are more protected this way from being smashed or damaged whilst your order is being delivered to you in the post.

Another great thing about this is that when you run out of certain shades you don't have to buy the whole palette again, you can just put in an order for the products that you need to replace. Depending on what you need to restock, the singular products you can buy on the website range from £2 - £3 (what a bargain!).

Ok, so now for the all the swatches from this gorgeous palette! As always, I have included an image taken without flash (left photo) and also with flash (right photo).

The shade names from top to bottom are; Extra, Sunbeam, Cents, Dessy, Boujie, Orion, Cwtch and Spice.

I absolutely love how pigmented all the colours are and you really don't need to use a lot of product. It's hard for me to pick a favourite since they're all so amazing but I think if I had to then I would say 'Boujie' takes the top spot. This colour looks stunning on and really makes my blue eyes pop!

I was a little apprehensive about what the quality of the eyeshadows would be like since this is a company that I've never bought from before or even heard anything about, however, the quality is actually great! They don't flake at all and they all seem to blend really well.

To create a Beautonomy palette made up of 8 shades the cost was £19.99 and then the shipping charge for the UK was an extra £3.99. I think this is a great price in total as for just under £24 you are getting your very own customised product that is of high quality and really something special. Plus, if you are ever stuck for birthday or Christmas present ideas, these palettes would make a great little gift! Overall, I'm super happy with how my palette turned out and I will definitely be creating another one (or a few) in the future. I have included the link to the Beautonomy website below if you are interested in taking a look yourself.
